Driving tips in Slovenia

Driving is on the right hand side in Slovenia. Speed limits in Slovenia are 60KPH in urban areas, outside built up areas 80KPH and 120KPH on motorways.

On the spot fines are applied for speeding and other traffic fines.

Seat belts are compulsory in front and rear of vehicles at all times. The alcohol limit in Slovenia is 0.05%. An alcohol reading of more than 0.12% will result in imprisonment.
