Thanks you for the arrangements you made for our recent trip to Florence, Siena and Pisa. I am pleased to say that the arrangements worked fine, no problems at all and you even managed to provide excellent weather!
The three hotels were of the expected standard. The Carolus in Florence was good and I would have no hesitation in recommending that to others. The Italia in Siena was was fine. it is about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Siena and a difficult uphill 10-15 minute walk from the station (no problems downhill) so I would advise a taxi for anyone arriving by train with heavy luggage.
The Villa Kinzica in Pisa was rather basic but adequate for one night. It is very handy for the leaning tower!
We were very fortunate that admission to the national museums was free in Florence while we were there for the last week in March. That, plus the good weather and absence of large numbers of tourists, made it an ideal time to visit the area.
I would certainly recommend this time of year for anyone wishing to visit those cities.
Thanks again for you help

The island is small in size but warm in it's welcome and at the widest point is only 6 miles wide by 19.6 miles long. The main beach on the island is Palm beach which is 2 miles long and is the situation for most of the large hotels. However there are 8 other beaches on the island to visit including baby beach which is situated in the south east of the island and is sandy half-moon bay with beautiful calm shallow lagoon in which you can wade out into the sea.

As small as the island is, it still has an 18 hole golf course situated in the North west of the island, designed by Robert Trent Jones called Tierra del Sol

There is also the 9 hole golf course available to play at Divi Village Aruba

Driving in Aruba tips: Driving is on the right hand side of the road in Aruba and the speed limit is 40km and 60km outside urban areas. Road signs are in kilometres. Where there are no road signs traffic from the right has the right of way.

International driving license must have been held for a minimum of 2 years and the driver be aged a minimum of 21 years of age.

Beware of slippery roads, due to infrequent rain and the build up of oil on the roads and local drivers who often stop suddenly with no warning. The North of the island is worth a visit to but can only be accessed by off road vehicles so if planning to visit this area a four wheel drive is recommended.
