Just to say another big thanks for finding another wonderful holiday for us. Vale del Rei in Portugal was lovely. Ideal for us as a family giving us the space we need but having the facilities of a hotel – no cooking for me! The accommodation was really good, and the staff so helpful. We arrived just after 10.00pm when the kitchen was closing but they still managed to give us something to eat. We even ended up at a pool which the rest of the resort didn’t seem to find so it was practically ours for the holiday.

Driving tips in Iceland

Driving on the right hand side of the road. Speed limits are 50kph in urban areas, 90kph on hard surface roads. Beware of loose gravel on rural roads. Headlights should be used at all times.

Safety belts must be worn at all times and there is a zero tolerance to drink driving.

Iceland is such an amazing country to visit with a wide variety of activities available at various times of the year. from bird watching, glacier tours, golf, watersports and skiing in the winter. You can even tee of at Midnight in Iceland on midsummers night when the night stays as day so if you're a mad golfer you know where to go.
