Choose from one of the many safaris or tours available in Namibia, make sure a visit to the Etosha National park the first conservation area in Namibia. A trip to Namibia would not be complete without a visit to the capital city Windhoek which is still influenced by its original German colonization. Indeed, if you are there at the right time you can even celebrate Oktoberfest. This German influence can be seen in the menus of the restaurants and the Architecture of the buildings. Visit the North east of Namibia to experience the extensive wetlands, floodplains, woodlands and rivers.  Here the land is home to many bird species and animals such as elephant, buffalo, red lechwe and reedbuck. If Quad-biking, sand-boarding, sand-skiing, parasailing is of interest to you then head to the town of Swakopmund which is a playground for adventure sports. The town itself is very pretty with shops, bars and restaurants as well as a selection of accommodation. A visit to Namibia would not be complete without a visit to the Kalahari Desert where you can meet the San Bushmen and listen to their stories of life in the Bushveld.

Driving is on the left hand side of the road. Speed limits in Urban areas is 60MPH and 100KMPH on motorways, on gravel roads,  it is recommended to drive at a maximum of 80KPH.
