Driving tips in Norway


Driving is on the left hand side in Norway. Norway has very strict drink driving laws, only allowing 0.1milligrams of alcohol per millilitre of blood - stricter than the UK where the limit is 0.8, and the strictest in Europe.

Seat belts must be worn at all times front and rear. Speed limit in urban areas 50kph, Open road 80kph and 90kph on motorways. On the spot fines are applied for speeding and other traffic offences.
