Spain Balearics

Getting Married in the Balearic Islands

It is possible for a blessing in the Balearic Islands or a religious ceremony if you are a catholic. However there is a minimum residency period of 2 years inn Spain for either the bride or groom or both in some regions. The Spanish law is quite strict on its marriage procedures and documentation must be legalised with a ‘Hague Apostille certification’ at a cost of £12 per certificate as well as being translated into Spanish. If the canary Islands or Spain is your choice of Wedding venue then it is advisable to choose an excellent wedding planner for that destination and plan at least 1 year in advance. Normal legal documents to marry are required. Speak to one of our Overseas wedding planners to help plan your beach wedding Wedding Abroad
