It is very easy to get married on the island of Antigua. You can pre book your wedding package with a UK tour operator or do it yourself on arrival. It takes a bit more work to do the organising and is often best to leave it in the hands of someone that has done it before.
To get married in Antigua you need to Visit the Ministry of Justice in St John’s with your valid passports, complete the application form and pay applicable marriage fees. The fees are made up of a registration fee of $40USD.
The application fee for the special marriage license of US$150, and the Marriage Officer’s fee of US$50
Both parties must be over the age of 15 years of age (if under 18 authorisation of parents or legal guardians will be required)
You will also need both the bride and grooms valid passports as proof of citizenship. If either of the bride or groom has been previously married, then the original divorce decree or, in the case of a widow or widower, the original marriage and death certificates will be required to be produced in Antigua.

Golfing Holidays Antigua

The island has 2 golf courses on the island one being at the Jolly harbour golf club and the other being Cedar Valley.  Cedar Valley is on higher ground with stunning panoramic views ut over the island and the coast. Driving in Antigua tips:

As a British Colony driving is on the left-hand side speed limit is 40 mph; 20 mph in urban areas, it is necessary to purchase a driver’s license for approx $20US and you must show a valid license from your home country.
Beware of Cyclists as Antiguans often ride bikes that are too small for them with their heels on the wheels and knees high in the air so are often off balance when riding.
