Vale del Rei in Portugal was lovely. Ideal for us as a family giving us the space we need but having the facilities of a hotel no cooking for me! The accommodation was really good, and the staff so helpful. We arrived just after 10.00pm when the kitchen was closing but they still managed to give us something to eat. We even ended up at a pool which the rest of the resort didn’t t seem to find so it was practically ours for the holiday.
