Local Tourist Tax: A fee will now be charged by the Government of Dubai in relation to all stays in hotel establishments in the Emirate of Dubai. The fee, called the “Tourism Dirham”, will be collected at check-out by the hotel establishment and will be charged per bedroom, per stay as follows; 2-3 star hotels 10 AED (approx £1.65), 4-star hotels 15 AED (approx £2.50) 5-star hotels 10 AED (approx £1.65)
